About Me

As a graduate of Kings College, I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications & Media Technologies, with a Graphic Design emphasis. I testify that school helped me develop my interest toward the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Flash, and Dreamweaver) into technical expertise, and a fierce love for the creative process.

For the past ten years, I’ve worked hands-on in the design industry: within agency and educational environments, at small firms, and as an independent-small business owner []. My focus areas comprise: graphic design, web site design, marketing strategy development, and art direction. My award-winning portfolio showcases the effect of my work in aggregate; both professionally, and as a recognized contributor to design communities worldwide.

I am an inspired person who loves to inspire others. I’ve drawn my most useful career gains by standing on the shoulders of former professors, and people whom I’ve met. Their practical advice for how to survive and succeed as graphic artist helped me to rise from intern to department head at two design and marketing agencies. This set of experiences became the foundation, and motivation for my step forward into entrepreneurship. I now look forward to carrying my experiences into teaching, where I can share my technical expertise and practical experience with students and young professionals.
